Hello, my name is Mrs. Tonya Helms and I am excited to be the principal at Walter M Kennedy Elementary. I am excited to be the leader of such a wonderful school! I have been with the Pell City School System since 2005. I have serviced this system in various positions and expect that my experience will help me to be the best leader possible.

In addition to my experience, I am married to my wonderful husband Glynn and we have 3 beautiful daughters together. Ashlyn is in 10th grade and attends Pell City High School, Kate is in 6th grade and attends Williams Intermediate, and Emma is in 3rd grade at Walter M. Kennedy Elementary.
