At Walter M. Kennedy, we believe that creativity is a vital part of every child’s education. At WMK, our goal is to foster a lifelong love for the arts in a fun, supportive environment where every young artist feels encouraged to explore, create, and grow.
Our art program gives students the opportunity to explore a wide range of artistic mediums and techniques—such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking—while nurturing their imagination and allowing for meaningful self-expression.
Through engaging, hands-on projects, students discover the joy of creating while exploring art history, learning about influential artists, and understanding the basic elements of art and design. They create both individually and collaboratively, building confidence, strengthening problem-solving skills, and deepening their knowledge of color, shape, and form.
